This 8-day safari tour package will take you to Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and Mikumi National Park; you will go on game drives, walking safaris and boat safaris. Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha national park are rich in wildlife but they receive very few visitors which gives them an unspoiled wilderness feel. On this tour you will see the big five and many other Southern Tanzania species; you will see lions, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, zebras, impalas, and many other wild animals of southern Tanzania. This tour package starts from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport (Julius Nyerere International Airport) you will be picked up by our driver who will drive you to your hotel in Dar es Salaam.Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
In the morning, you will be driven from Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve; the drive takes approximately 6 hours. On arrival, lunch will be served and then in the afternoon, you will go for a boat safari on the Rufiji River.Dinner and overnight at Selous River Camp in Nyerere National Park.
You will spend this day doing game drives inside Nyere NP, lunch will be served inside the reserve and then you will go on another game drive until late evening. On this day, you will see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, birds, wild dogs and many other wild animals of Southern Tanzania.Dinner and overnight at Selous River Camp in Nyerere National Park.
After breakfast, our guide will drive you to Mikumi National Park; the drive takes about 5 hours. You will arrive in the afternoon and then lunch will be served; after lunch, you will head out for a game drive inside Mikumi National Park.Dinner and overnight at Foxes Safari Camp.
This day will be spent doing game drives inside Mikumi National park; today, you will see Africa’s finest predators and big game.
You will see zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo, elephants, lions, leopards and hyenas.Dinner and overnight at Foxes Safari Camp (Lunch, Dinner )
After breakfast, our guide will drive you from Mikumi National Park to Ruaha National Park – Tanzania’s largest national park. You will arrive around lunchtime, lunch will be served and then in the afternoon, you will head out for a game drive.Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.
In the morning, you will be driven out of your lodge for a day of game viewing; you will see one of the largest concentrations of predators in Tanzania; lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyena, wild dogs, bat-eared foxes, and jackals roam freely here. Grazers such as elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, Grant’s gazelles, greater and lesser kudus, sable and roan antelopes, waterbucks, and impalas will also be seen.Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.
On this day, you will be driven to Dar es Salaam; the drives take about 8 hours. If your flight back home or a connecting flight to a different part of Tanzania leaves tonight, we will drive you to the airport to catch the flight. Or drop-off at your hotel in Dar es Salaam.
